Open studio is a time for you to come in and see what we do here! Watch our artists create, make your own artwork, and meet some neighbors! This is a family friendly event with activities for adults and children.

Art on Sedgwick and Marshall Field Gardens Community Center are thrilled to welcome the Chicago International Puppet Theater Festival to Old Town as part of their Neighborhood Festival Tour. The festival has two objectives:

  • To cultivate the imagination through the traditions and contemporary practices of the art of puppetry.
  • To establish Chicago as a cultural center for puppetry by presenting work of the highest quality as well as creating access to leaders and innovators in the art form through workshops and classes.

The Free Puppet Festival Neighborhood Tour fosters an appreciation of puppetry in every corner of the city. All ages welcome. Reservations recommended. Free.
